Welcome to Troop 20959

2010 - 2011

As most of the troop graduate into 6th Grade, and become Cadetts this semester we are geared to wonderful things.

We are wearing our new uniform and new troop identification badges, and stepping forward, as blazers of our scouting world.

· Before the Christmas break

We are planning a bridging ceremony from Juniors to Cadetts.

The whole troop is going tent camping.

Cadetts are preparing to go on an over night hike.

We are welcoming new girls into our troop.

February 2011 we will be celebrating our 99th year of Scouting in America.

These are just a few things we are doing. These are all the usual and exciting badges we are working on and a lot of the Juniors are working on their Bronze Award while the new cadetts are starting to work on their Silver Award.

I understand that the new semester is going to be challenging for most, as in Scouting, in this I offer myself to you all for any chats or help you may need. As a leader and a friend I am there for you when ever you need me.

I am excited with all the adventures in Scouting we are going on. There is so much excitement for us in the Scouting World; we have barley touched on things like GPS readings, Compass reading & hiking over unchartered ground.

Remember to keep in mind when talking to people to point out what you have leant in Scouting, how much more you know about life – maybe even to whom you are talking, how your skills are much more accomplished and stimulating than the boy/girl next door.

Scouting is a world of adventure, achievement, anticipation, & enthusiasm in all which we do
